To end the season, the Treatment Centre hosted a family ice fishing derby. The event was free with smokies, wieners, hot chocolate and iced tea were enjoyed by all ages.
Executive Director William Kaminiwash said, ” I was quite amazed how many people showed up and it was great seeing kids having fun and people visiting each other.” Kaminiwash also observed that no one was on their cellphones, other than himself taking photos and that everyone was just enjoying the day.
