A welcome message from Executive Director, William Kaminawash
We have had a busy and productive winter season of ice fishing and other land-based activities. Now we are in the middle of our goose hunt season, and organizing lots of exciting community and program activities to keep active in the spring and summer. Our planning team has been liaising with many levels of community and government leaders to build our new centre. The Feasibility Study is wrapping up and the whole team is excited for the next steps. This issue of our newsletter details these updates and offers our Client Success Story column as well as photos of our ice fishing derby and Youth Conference. Finally, a big welcome to our new Program Director, Karen Kaminiawaish. I know you’ll enjoy meeting her and reading her inspiring insights into her new role.
